Parents’ Evening

What is Parents’ Evening?

Parents’ evening is important because it gives you an opportunity to discuss what your child is doing at school and how they are getting on. You can also cover any issues you may want to talk about with your child’s teacher.

These are held twice a year when staff and the Headteacher are available to talk about your child’s progress. The Autumn meeting is designed so that parents can meet the teachers and share information whilst the spring meeting provides a chance to see your child’s work and discuss his or her progress.

Reports are sent out at the end of each school year.

Teachers are always willing to see parents after school but it is advisable to make an appointment unless urgent.

Appointments with the Headteacher should be made through the School Office.
